MWC and I celebrated 23 years of marriage in May. We had planned a weekend getaway to celebrate. However, the demands of the military brought those plans to a screeching halt. We decided to reschedule it and then had childcare conflicts so it got delayed again. We finally got away this weekend and saw first hand that God's ways our not our ways and there can be incredible blessings in what looks like an unfortunate circumstance from our point of view. Because of all the rescheduling, we ended up in Western MD during the peak of the fall colors that even the rain and clouds could not hide. On our last day the sun did shine and we were treated to a gorgeous ride home.
