Not quick enough with the camera
Sunshine came running with it as soon as I called her and it was still too late. Why did I want a camera so quickly? Because standing on my pool cover, beautiful and as majestic as you please, was a very large Great Blue Heron. Seeing a heron in this area is always a treat but not terribly uncommon....however, I must say this is the first time I've seen one up this close AND in my backyard! Too bad he...or she...flew off before I could snap a picture.
