This weekend we had the privilege of going to Charlotte to see some wonderful friends. They have a very unusual pet in their front yard. Let me introduce to you, Charlotte the writing spider from Charlotte.
Having just read Charlotte's Web this summer, the littles were fascinated by Charlotte. We met Charlotte shortly after our arrival. The next morning before breakfast, they had to run out to see if she'd written anything new in her web.
It seems we interrupted her breakfast.
If you look closely at her web, she did indeed weave a new one in the evening and "wrote" in a new design for us to check out.
