Pick a frigid day and they will come

MWC organizes the service projects for our youth group. They have a connection with a local place that they go to regularly go... typically when the weather is warm. A few months ago, a small team disassembled a greenhouse there and a few weeks ago were asked to please brave the cold and come back and put it together.

MWC figured if he was going with his small team, he might as well ask and see if he could get a "few" more interested teens to come along too.

Well his "few" has turned into a team of 20+. So today they will be braving a high temp of 29 with wind gusts up to 45-50mph to do a service project. That's more than any team put together on a warm day!!

The little girls and I will be "braving the cold" inside the unheated building. when we join them for a couple hours to serve them warm meatball subs for lunch.
